What I am Coming to Know: Vayeitzei

Two people holding hands, one in a blue top and the other in a white shirt with a small pattern.
My 89 year old mother is in hospital.
Sitting in Edmonton airport
On a sojourn, back home,
And in two different directions,
In quiet awe,
I watch a young mother
With her new baby.

Life returns itself to Life.
All is as it should be.

This night I learned
There are over 200 billion trillion stars in the universe,
100 million black holes in our region of the universe,
And that I will only ever have,
One mother.
A stone rolls away from my heart.

God is in this place
And I am coming to know.
