With Every Sunrise

With every sunrise,
We have the chance to start over.
With every new moon,
We have the chance to change course.
With the start of each season,
We have the chance to plant kindness and acceptance.
With every new year,
We have the chance to forgive ourselves and others and renew our commitment to tikkun olam.

With every breath,
We absorb G-d’s soul replenishing our own.
With every step,
We make progress toward creating G-d’s world of peace.
With every touch,
We impart G-d’s love to those in need.
With every word we speak,
We extend G-d’s compassion for us to others

Learning to Say "We": Writing Identity

In this immersion, we will reflect and expand on our personal experiences of identity, using writing exercises and in-depth discussions to think about, challenge, discover, explore, and experiment with different ways to identify ourselves, to consider how those ways connect us to and separate us from others, and how they represent and misrepresent aspects of who we are.

Four sessions, starting June 15th
