Positive Body Image: Creative Birkhot Ha’Shakhar

These blessings are from a larger ritual for those undergoing bariatric surgery. They can also be used as daily affirmations for those struggling with issues around body image, or who are quitting smoking. They can be read in place of, in addition to, or independant of the traditional Birkhot Ha’Shakhar (Morning Blessings). You are encouraged to print them out and post them on either your bedroom mirror or refrigerator.

Learning to Say "We": Writing Identity

In this immersion, we will reflect and expand on our personal experiences of identity, using writing exercises and in-depth discussions to think about, challenge, discover, explore, and experiment with different ways to identify ourselves, to consider how those ways connect us to and separate us from others, and how they represent and misrepresent aspects of who we are.

Four sessions, starting June 15th
