Kabbalat Hashanah Seder

Like most others, we realize that Rosh haShanah 5781 is very different from almost every other Rosh Hashanah in almost everyone’s memory. For this year, rather than trying to use or adapt our normal liturgy, rather than just taking our typical Erev Rosh Hashanah practice to a video teleconference, we chose to bring the Rosh Hashanah seder to our community (albeit over video teleconference). To do this, we explored existing liturgy and sources and reconstructed the practice to fit with our community and with the times.

We offer this liturgy to the community. Download the PDF below.

Learning to Say "We": Writing Identity

In this immersion, we will reflect and expand on our personal experiences of identity, using writing exercises and in-depth discussions to think about, challenge, discover, explore, and experiment with different ways to identify ourselves, to consider how those ways connect us to and separate us from others, and how they represent and misrepresent aspects of who we are.

Four sessions, starting June 15th
