Ha’ma’amin Banu Tamid: Who Believes in Us

A person stands with hands over heart, in front of a wall with notes and sticky notes. Sunlight streams in.

Adonai, ha’makhzik et ha’b’riah b’yadekha
‎אדוני, המחזיק את הבריאה בידיך
Adonai, who holds creation in Your hands:

You give us challenges,
You watch when we fall.
You whisper in our ear
That we can prevail.
You help us to rise,
To try once again,
And You never forget us,
Though we may turn away from You.

Thank You, Adonai,
For lifting us higher
For reminding us
That we are more than our deeds.
For salving our wounds,
And healing our souls.
For giving us life,
And another new day.

Barukh atah Adonai, ha’ma’amin banu tamid
‎המאמין בנו תמיד
Blessed are you Adonai, for always believing in us.
