RIBONO SHEL OLAM,
G-d of this Place,
Asher Byadekha nefesh kol hai
v’ruakh kol basar ishah
May You help us find within ourselves,
the gift of Your Shabbat,
a day of rest,
a day of Your making.
As we work to build
for ourselves and our communities,
a sanctuary in time,
a separation from the mundane,
a partnership with the Sacred.
May we find renewed blessing in this broken world.
Elokeinu v’elokei imoteinu v’avoteinu,
kabel na b’rakhamim,
Remind us of our love of place,
of land, of home.
Ana Adomai,
Elokei ha’rukhot l’kol basar,
In a time of hardened hearts,
a time of war,
a time of division,
May Your Ner Adomai,
Your Eternal Flame,
be awakened and kindled,
in all people,
now and always.
Yehi Ratzon Milfanekha,
May Your will be revealed,
through love and kindness,
justice and peace.
Avinu Shebashamayim,
remember us here on earth,
by fulfilling the vision of Your prophet:
“Nation shall not lift up sword against nation,
Neither shall they learn war anymore.”*
Venomar: Amen
