Misheberach avoteinu ve-imoteinu
May the One who blessed our ancestors bless this community, brothers and sisters from all walks of life, who are gathering together to face the bias and prejudices that keep us apart from one another.
Grant us strength, sensitivity, and compassion as we engage in this important and sacred work. Help us to be patient with ourselves and each other. And help us to remember that we are all made betzelem Elohim, in the Divine image, and that acts of hatred against others diminish us all.
May we remember that we have not come onto this earth to foment hate, anger, and division, but rather have come to be seekers of shalom, of peace and wholeness.
