Parshat Toldot: Dedicated to Vivian Silver

a protest for peace

Dedicated to Vivian Silver, z”l, and her vision

Who is indigenous and who
is genocide-ing whom?

It all started in the
womb,
twins battled for
womb space.
Rifka carried their struggle.
She wanted to die rather than
birth their violence.

Rifka twisted truth,
Yitzchak was blind.
We are all blinded
in a shroud of darkness.

Vivian help us from the other side:
to lie
on the ground
of this planet-womb,
to hold hands and to pray
for hate to be swallowed
by light.
