Intention for a Loving Citizenship

Bright yellow wildflowers in a sunlit desert landscape with a mountain in the background.

Be careful that you do not mistake human beings for the state and the state for human beings.

That as you live in this place, you check, each day, that you are still fully human.

That you are capable of loving the strangest one.

And how will you know it is love?

When your love is the shape of not you.
