In Prayerful Creation

Do not abandon me on the platform,

Bags overflowing.

Those heavy,

Words of the Oracle*,

“We can never see past the choices we don’t understand.”

Mowed down,

Churned up,

Disarrayed

On the track;

The train departed.

Emet whispers back,

In mercy,

What was once known

But had long since been forgotten;

“It is the world that has been pulled over your eyes to blind you from the truth.”**

Come here!

Come; pray!

And on luminescent cobalt wings,

Arising with Ruakh from the South,

Archangel, Micha’el.

Guardian, Messenger, Lord of Fire,

Likeness of God.

Draw into me, close:

As close as a breath

Is away.

A silver sword

Slices through the barriers –

Klipot,

Those

Things

Merely

Shells

Cracking

Open;

Revelations of light.

The Holy One is here.

Transcendence wrapped

In a mystery named

Prayer.

The magnification of each sanctified letter;

Vibrating in concentric circles

Dances ‘round my lips,

Nestled in blue feathers;

Illuminated breath arises.

The rustle of

Yud Hey Vav Hey

Soundlessly spoken.

Listen and remember.

I am alive! I am alive!

I am created. I am creating.
