Your Torah is like a wedding band
Binding us together
Making us whole–one to the other.

Our Torah is like a wedding band.
Its clarinet whines beyond the sound barrier.
The bass guitar pulls at our kishkes
As we slide along with the piano rills.

And each of us
Holding the torch and the spotlight
Stands at the front
And Sing the Torah we live

You dwell deep in our lungs
Miraculous in exquisite lyrics

Weddings begin with
Brukhim ha-baim
Brukhot ha-baot
Blessed are all who come to this holy moment.

We are blessed indeed.

The rich wine of kiddush
Dark and crimson-kissed as the letters of the scroll–
They call to us

They call us to show up.
They call us to pay attention.
They call us to bear witness
They call us to speak Torah
When we lie down
When we rise up.

It is a wedding.
Let us rejoice!
