Sara Stock Mayo

Sara is a Pittsburgh based musician, poet, spiritual director and activist.  She has held cantorial positions at several congregations in both Pittsburgh and New York and currently is one of the service leaders for the spiritual community of Kesher Pittsburgh.  Sara studied musical theatre at Syracuse University and performs in local cabarets and concerts.  With an MA in drama therapy, chaplaincy training and a certification in Jewish spiritual direction from the Yedidya Center, she is starting a private practice in creative arts coaching and spiritual direction.  She is an active member of Bend the Arc Pittsburgh, the Sisterhood of Salaam Shalom and co-leads programs with local Interfaith communities through the JCC’s Center for Lovingkindness.  A recent empty nester, Sara is looking forward to spending time with her dogs, traveling and writing as much as possible.
