Your Love like Lightning

I find serenity in dark storms,

For in those storms I find You,
 
Even if only for a brief moment like a flash of lightning,
 
Your love drowns out the darkness,
 
It is truly a divine thing,
 
To bear witness to a dark storm,
 
For even though the storm is terrifying,
 
We know You are by our side,
 
O holy one of Israel,
 
Let Your love like lightning,
 
Drown out the storm,
 
Even just for a moment,
 
So that we may find serenity in dark storms.
