The Silver Trumpets Call*

person shown far away in silhouette against a sky in which the sun has set and the sky is blue yellow and orange
Listen for the Silver Trumpet’s high notes
Short blasts: For our brokenness-to wholeness
Long blasts: For our longing for community
As we walk the desert, may our faith be strong
Carrying the Tabernacle through Sinai’s wilderness
Opening our hearts to the draw of the Promised land
May our Spirits soar to the Call

*”Have two silver trumpets made; make them of hammered work.” Numbers 10:2
