A Single Spark

Person standing on a hill at night, holding a bright flare with a starry sky in the background.

In the darkness
Complete and unadorned
A single spark
Leapt into existence

Life and being
Were born in that moment
As Divine Creation
Entered the universe

Wrapped in a cloak
Of mystery and questions
She began Her descent
With purpose and direction

Carrying the promise
Of Ruakh and Neshamah
She blazes a pathway
For Her children to follow

Her name is Shekhinah
And She brings renewal
As Her cloak falls away
Our souls can find light
