Perfect Home

the contrast of darrk and light on a building made of Jerusalme stone
I want to write the perfect poem.
A poem so courageous and beautiful
That it causes flowers to bloom and wars to end.
I want to write the perfect song.
A song so penetrating and true
That it causes birds to sing and peace to flourish.
In truth,
I just want them home.
Forget the poetry.
Forget the song.
I want them home.
All of them.
Home.
