Mi Sheberach for Israelis Defending Democracy

May the one who blessed our ancestors,
Abraham, Isaac and Jacob,
Sarah, Rebecca, Rachel and Leah,
As well as Herzl, who said “if you will it, it is no dream,”
And Ben Gurion the father of the state,
And all those who signed their names to Israel’s Declaration of Independence –
May the one who blessed Golda, and Yitzhak and Shimon
Bless all of the Israelis in the Land and outside the Land who are rising to defend Democracy.
Source of Our Lives, give them strength,
Endurance,
Mental toughness,
Creativity,
And Solidarity.
Help them to save the State of Israel’s democracy,
Because we have learned that Democracy is sacred.
Source of Our Lives, help us and give us strength.
Amen.
