From Genesis to Exodus: A Kabbalistic Meditation

The vessels shook.
And the lights burst forth.

Far below, they traveled.
Into the most sturdy and unsuspecting hearts.

And the humans kept the lights hidden.
So they could survive carefully in the looming dark.

But despite
Pogroms,

Then, ploughshares

Recurring Pharoahs and Josephs gritting their teeth so hard, the fight to just be nearly broke them.

None of us ever did bend the knee.
We just had to learn to find our lights.
And become.

Learning to Say "We": Writing Identity

In this immersion, we will reflect and expand on our personal experiences of identity, using writing exercises and in-depth discussions to think about, challenge, discover, explore, and experiment with different ways to identify ourselves, to consider how those ways connect us to and separate us from others, and how they represent and misrepresent aspects of who we are.

Four sessions, starting June 15th
