Three Confessions
I confess my own sins. I have made mistakes, I have chosen selfishly, I have hurt others, I have held grudges. I have done damage in the world. I have turned away from your teachings and it has not helped me. For all my sins, named and unnamed, forgive me, pardon me, grant me atonement.
I forgive whoever has wronged me, in thought, word, or deed. I forgive myself for my thoughts and actions concerning them. I forgive them completely and I send them compassion and love.

I confess the sins of my community, the Jewish People, my country, the State of IsraelLit. ''the one who struggles with God.'' Israel means many things. It is first used with reference to Jacob, whose name is changed to Israel (Genesis 32:29), the one who struggles with God. Jacob's children, the Jewish people, become B'nai Israel, the children of Israel. The name also refers to the land of Israel and the State of Israel., and all those on earth. We have made mistakes, we have chosen selfishly, we have hurt others, we have murdered, we have held grudges, we have created damage in the world. We have turned away from your teachings and it has not helped us. For all these sins, named and unnamed, forgive us, pardon us, grant us atonement.
I forgive whoever has wronged my community, the Jewish People, and all those living in my nation and other nations in thought, word, or deed. I forgive myself for my thoughts and actions concerning them. I forgive them completely and I send them compassion and love.
