Morning Made Whole

The poem that follows reflects the path of the Jewish prayer service. I hope it evokes messages of peace and love for you.

Entering the tent of those who have gone before,
Entering this awesome place of old,
We are grateful for the abundance of this life.
We seek the connection of our souls.

We are blessed to all be made whole in body;
To all be of one heart in our lives together,
To dwell in the house of our ancestors,
In the presence of the one that is greater.

We gather in praise of all that gives us life;
Seeking the light that glows through the world,
Proclaiming that peace can be with us,
Listening for the abounding love from above.

We stand on the shore looking out at what is possible;
Turning to the rock from which all life flows.
We quietly wait for inspiration to guide us.
And we wrap ourselves in praise of the Almighty,
With loving memory of those who have gone before.
