A Day in the Life of a Daffodil: Tiferet Sh’B’Hesed

Out of the consciousness of water
We acknowledge
We are only passing through.

In the heart,
Of the heart,
Of Tiferet,

There comes a truth.

Among the grasses,
In a field of spring,
A solitary, yet radiant, daffodil

Who soon will return her beauty
Into her Creator.

Death is rebuked,
Moment by moment,
Through metaphysical Count

In Hesed’s sapphire flow.

The One who has the power to grant life
Gives to us what we cannot give to ourselves.

HaShem did not create
Universe upon universe upon universe
Out of loneliness.

The worlds were created
Out of Hesed’s urge
To give.
