1) Recite the traditional blessing.
After pouring water into a cup (usually a large, two-handled cup), one recites the traditional blessing:
בָּרוּךְ אַתָּה הָ׳ אֱלֹהֵינוּ מֶלֶךְ הָעוֹלָם אֲשֶׁר קִדְּשָׁנוּ בְּמִצְוֹתָיו וְצִוָּנוּ עַל נְטִילַת יָדַיִם
Barukh Atah Ado-nai Elo-heinu Melekh Ha’Olam Asher Kidshanu B’mitzvotav Vitzivanu al Netilat Yadayim
Blessed are you, O Lord, our God, King of the Universe, who has sanctified us through your commandments and has commanded us concerning the washing of hands
2) Visualize the water as blessing and recite these additional blessings.
As one splashes water on the front and back of the right hand, say: “Thank you, God, for transforming negativity to positivity in my life.” As one splashes water on the front and back of the left hand, state: “Thank you God, for bringing me miracles, blessings and love.” Amen.
For the second pour, on the front and back of the right hand, say: ”Thank you, God, for transforming negativity to positivity in the lives of my dear ones.” And for the splash on the front and back of the left hand, say, “Thank you, God, for bringing my dear ones miracles, blessings and love.” Amen.
For the third pour, for the splash on the front and back of the right hand, say, “Thank you, God, for transforming negativity to positivity in the world (and universe).” For the splash on the front and back of the left hand, say: “Thank you, God, for bringing miracles, blessings and love to the world (and the universe).” Amen.
