We have completed our rituals. The great shofarA ram's horn that is blown on the High Holidays to "wake us up" and call Jews to repentance. It is also said that its blast will herald the coming of the messiah. has been sounded. We hear the call and open to the possibility of renewal in the coming year. May the spring water we drink to break our fast remind us of the mayyim hayyim, the living waters of Miriam’s Well. May we feel refreshed and nourished by God’s healing waters, able to sustain ourselves, our families, our community. May this be a year of health, wholeness, and peace for us and for all the world.
