We beg of you: Heed our call in the dry places.
The parts of the desert made uninhabitable by our divisions, our resentments and our iniquities.
And in these places, place a well of goodness, decency and communal knowing.
That we may gather around the water.
Nurture all life through the water.
Quench justice’s thirst from the water.
And replenish our world, by the blessing of the water.
May you come to us in righteous rejoicing, Â signaling to us the time to share life and revel in the beauty of being alive together.Â
