Who but God?

When the world seems dark
And fear consumes the sunshine,
Who but God
Can restore the light?

When your life spins out of control
Like the devastating swirl of a tornado,
Who but God
Can calm those winds?

When your ears are filled
With the deafening echoes of despair,
Who but God
Can bring sweet silence?

When you’ve lost all hope
And can feel your spirit crumbling away,
Who but God
Can make your broken pieces whole?

Everyone.
We can all triumph over the worst of days,
For who but God
Gives us the hope for a better tomorrow?

Learning to Say "We": Writing Identity

In this immersion, we will reflect and expand on our personal experiences of identity, using writing exercises and in-depth discussions to think about, challenge, discover, explore, and experiment with different ways to identify ourselves, to consider how those ways connect us to and separate us from others, and how they represent and misrepresent aspects of who we are.

Four sessions, starting June 15th
