In ancient days on Sinai’s height,
Amidst the thunder, wreathed in light,
A covenant of love was sealed,
The Torah’s wisdom was revealed.
From desert sands to fertile ground,
Our journey blessed by heaven’s sound,
Each year we gather, souls aflame,
To honor Shavuot’s holy name.
We reap the harvest, wheat and grain,
First fruits offered through sun and rain,
In humble awe, we now recall
The moment Moses heard God’s call.
With roses blooming, greenery fair,
We deck our homes with fragrant prayer,
Through night we study, hearts made new,
In Torah’s light, our path rings true.
So gather round, both near and far,
Beneath the heavens crowned with star,
With joy and praise, our voices ring
For Shavuot, eternal spring.
From Sinai’s peak to this bright day,
The Torah’s fire lights our way,
In every heart, in every prayer,
God’s living word we always bear.
Thus stand we now as one in grace,
Heirs to this sacred, holy place,
Where earth meets heaven, past meets now
Renewed again by Sinai’s vow.
