God created the universe
In time for shabbos
But is invisible to creation
Who answers us?
I feel a response to my worries and praises
Even as I can’t always choose
One of God’s many names
For the voice
I’ve never felt the need
For divine parents —
Maybe an eternal Trickster
Is closer
Always available when we aren’t
Looking or listening
Is Shekhinah the mysterious
Beauty of Kabbalah?
The great mother I have
Never missed? Or…?
I feel closest to HaShem
The Name being
More than enough
When I sit outside
And talk to God
Perhaps God is the conversation
A language
