Sit in a comfortable position.Â
Feel the foundation of the seat beneath you, of your feet touching the ground.
Gently roll back your shoulders, stretch your neck to the right… to the left.
With your eyes closed or gently gazing downward, take a deep and full inhale.Â
Slowly and intentionally release the breath.
Do this a couple times.Â
With each inhale gently notice places where you may be holding tension.Â
With each exhale, soften and release around places of tension.
On your next inhale:
God, Spirit of the Universe, as I sit here awaiting the news of the status of my health, be with me on this nerve-wracking journey.Â
My mind races when I go to the worst possible scenario, my body constricts and I feel heavy.Â
Then my thoughts recede to the places of light and comfort, to the spaciousness that maybe, just maybe, I will receive good news.
God, Divine Creator, hold me in comfort and strength as I move from moment to moment awaiting this update.Â
Be with me as I sit in the stillness of quiet moments, as I wipe away my tears, and as I distract myself from the realities of the present.
May each breath hold me in true awareness of my Divine spark.Â
I am not alone, though I may feel alone. You are with me.
May each exhale ground me in the deep knowing of who I am, remembering all that I have navigated up to this point in my life.Â
With each beat of my heart, a gentle drumming up of memories, recalling my power, my determination, my resilience. Â
Mi Sheberakh, May the One Who Blessed my ancestors, bless me now with comfort, with strength, and with grounding. May healing be at hand.Â
Amen.
Gently take a deep inhale, followed by a cleansing exhale:
Bring your hands together to heart center. Set an intention for the rest of your day.
