A Father’s Blessing

Two people hug each other closely, offering comfort and emotional support in an indoor setting.
You taught with strength, with gentle hand
To walk with purpose, proud to stand
With wisdom drawn from ancient streams
You shaped our lives, our hopes, our dreams
Your voice, a guide through joy and strife
Your faith, the rhythm of your life
You taught us how to bless the bread
To light the candles, bow the head
In every mitzvah, word, and song
You showed us where our hearts belong
Through Torah’s light and Shabbat’s peace
You gave our restless souls release
So on this day, we rise and say
Todah Rabah in every way
For love, for strength, for lessons true
We offer honor now to you
May Hashem bless you more each year
With simkhah (joy), nahat (pride), and hearts sincere
Yevarekhekha Adonai v’yishmerekha
May God bless you and always guard you
Shalom
