In this three-week workshop, Lisa Grinberger invites participants to use personal photographs as gentle entry points into memoir writing, exploring both joyful and painful memories. Through prompts, discussion, and supportive sharing, writers will create short “micro-memoirs” that honor the stories held within images.

In this series led by poet Joy Ladin, participants will explore how poetry can make divine presence perceptible through language, with a focus on the Shekhinah as Judaism’s indwelling, intimate sacred presence. Through Jewish texts, contemporary poetry, and writing exercises, we’ll experiment with language as a way to encounter and respond to what lies beyond the human.
