What does it mean to live as a soul in this world? How can learning to hold contradictory and competing truths help expand our spiritual experience as human beings? What practices and contexts can enrich our souls and help us grow into our “soul” expression?
This immersion is grounded in the Jewish spiritual concept of “paradox” — holding mutually exclusive truths as a strategy for expanding our consciousness and bringing light into the world. Each session will incorporate Jewish teachings, hevruta learning (learning with a partner), personal reflection, and short suggested assignments to bring specific “soul vitamins” into your life. In addition to a general introduction regarding paradox and the soul experience, we will focus on four “soul vitamins” (rest, compassion, forgiveness, and generosity) along with their paradoxical opposites (action, justice, accountability, and gratitude). You will have the opportunity to reflect on each concept and bring both sides into your life with intentionality and balance.
Through the practice of four “soul vitamins,” discover ways to strengthen your experience as a spiritual being, expand your consciousness and deepen your ability to be present.
All sessions will be recorded and sent to participants. We encourage live attendance for you to get the most out of the experience.
