Sheryl Shapiro

Sheryl Shapiro has enjoyed a rich career in education, public engagement and ecology, working to build partnerships that ignite and nurture a sense of place, connection and well being. She delights in explorations of the natural world, the complex beauty of community, and playing with words, sounds and movement. Sheryl engages with her Judaic heritage, known and unknown, as a joyful, healing journey of discovery, remembrance and resilience. She is a published poet, chant leader and a facilitator of explorations of grief. Sheryl lives on Duwamish/Coast Salish land (aka Seattle, Washington).
