Marissa

I was born in New York of a Sepharadic father and Mexican Jewish Mother. When I was seven we moved to Mexico City where I grew up and went to the American School Foundation. I enjoyed writing since fourth grade and when I was in middle school I had a short story published in “El Yug” magazine. At 19 years old I returned to New York and studied art and illustration at the School of Visual Arts and have a Bachelor’s degree in fine arts. I have written and illustrated a children’s book titled “Audrey and the Sharing Seeds. ” I am a baker and post my poems and paintings along with weekly baking menus on my Facebook page crozetcutiepies. Menus, paintings and poems can  also be seen at www,cutiepiebakeshop.com.
