Rabbi and Cantor Eva Robbins is a graduate of our AJR/CA as Cantor (2004) and Rabbi (2015), a ‘Transdenominational’ seminary. She is on the Faculty have taught Nusach to rabbis, Lifecycle Ceremonies, The Mishkan, and Introduction to Liturgy.
She is co-founder, with her husband, Rabbi Stephen Robbins, of Congregation N’vay Shalom an independent synagogues in Los Angeles. “We are dedicated to supporting each member in their search to connect with the Holy One, to develop spiritual practice to expand the soul, deepen wisdom through the study of Torah, and celebrate holidays.” Since 2020 much of their work is through Zoom.
She is a Jewish fabric ceremonial artist with works in homes, synagogues, and two Jewish museums. Her work can be seen at www.Expandedspirit.org. She is the author of “Spiritual Surgery: A Journey of Healing Mind, Body, and Spirit” a comprehensive look at the Israelite slaves and the building of the portable sanctuary, the Mishkan.
