Elana

Elana Rivel is the CEO of Jewish Learning Venture. Her writings grow out of a life spent at the intersection of family and Jewish community, and that our work in this world is to create, or hold, the space for people to become who they already are. She lives outside Philadelphia with her husband and two big dogs. She is also the mom to two amazing young adults – both of whom have chosen paths of community-strengthening work; a sign that, perhaps, she did something right.
