Prayer for a BIPOC Festival

hands of different rainbow colors reach up against a white background

We understand that the Source of all Blessing has provided our natural world with a multiplicity of gorgeous colors and shades, with designs of all kinds to delight the eye and to expand the heart. We, human beings,  share in the diversity of this garden we call home. And we are all blessed and strengthened by it.

With the BIPOC community, I pray, that as you have built up this land, may you be built up. As you have strengthened our land, may you be strengthened. As you have contributed to the beauty of our home, may your beauty be acknowledged. As we have all been enriched and uplifted by your fortitude and spirit, may you be enriched and uplifted.  May all obstacles on your path dissolve in your light and may you experience only warmth and friendship from all those whom you encounter. For as you have truly been a blessing, may you be blessed.
