Yitgadal v’yitkadash sh’mei raba.

Blessed is the memory of those we have lost to addiction

B’alma di v’ra hirutei,
v’yamlikh malkhutei,

Blessed are those who went too far without realizing

b’hayeikhon u’v’yomeikhon
u’v’khayyei d’khol beit Yisrael,

Blessed are those who relapsed and used the same amount it took them to [no-glossary]get[/noglossary] high last time, forgetting their tolerance may have reset

ba’agala u’viz’man kariv. V’im’ru: Amen.

Y’hei sh’mei raba m’vorakh
l’olam ul’almei almaya.

Blessed are those who couldn’t take the pain of living anymore and sought eternal release in their substance of choice

Yitbarakh v’yishtabakh  v’yitpa’ar v’yitromam v’yitnasei,

Blessed are those born with addiction

v’yit’hadar v’yitaleh v’yit’halal sh’mei d’kud’sha

Blessed are those who developed their addictions young

b’rikh hu,

Blessed are those who developed their addictions later in life

l’eila min kol birkhata v’shirata, tushb’khata v’nekhemata, da’amiran b’alma. V’imru: Amen.

Blessed are those who continue to live with the effects of addiction, those who use and those who don’t

Y’hei sh’lama raba min sh’maya, v’khayyim aleinu v’al kol Yisrael. V’imru: Amen.

Blessed are all of us here today, who loved them, who miss them, and who continue to fight for them and in their name

Oseh shalom bimromav,
Hu ya’aseh shalom aleinu,
v’al kol Yisrael. V’imru: Amen.

And together we say: Amen.
