Your Wedding Prayer

Two gold wedding bands placed close together on a light surface with decorative elements in the background.

May your love be an ever-flowing river –
sometimes calm, sometimes wild,
but always moving you closer
to the heart of what matters.

May you speak each other’s names
like sacred words,
and listen to each other’s truths
as if they are prayers.

May your days be filled with ordinary miracles –
shared meals, quiet mornings,
forgiveness without keeping score.

May your differences be your teachers,
and your laughter be your glue.
May you grow not only old together,
but new – again and again.

New.

And when life stretches you –
as it will –
may you stretch toward each other,
not away.

May your home be a sanctuary,
your union a light,
and your love
a blessing to the world.

Amen.
