As We Pray

Four people with arms around each other, facing a lake, showing unity and friendship.

You come at us as we pray.

We pray and place ourselves in front of the fear,
We pray and place ourselves in front of the anger,
We pray and place ourselves in front of the grief.

We pray and delight in our memories,
We pray and pledge ourselves to justice,

We pray and get ready for the long repair that must happen after the patterns break.

Go ahead,
Come at us as we pray.
