Prayer for Those at Summer Camp

Young girl wearing a blue vest holds a large bowl of leafy lettuce outdoors, smiling.
May your summer be filled with discovery–
learning new things and uncovering parts of yourself yet unknown.
May your heart be open in prayer, in stillness, and in song.

May you try new things with courage,
and find comfort in the return of old faves.
May laughter ring out in moments shared,
as new friendships blossom and old ones deepen.

May you learn to cherish both victory and defeat,
With your heart always rooted in the value of playership and love of the game.

May you find your tribe—
those who see you, cherish you, and celebrate who you truly are.
And may all of this happen beneath a sky full of stars
and a canopy of trees whispering ancient blessings.

Ufros aleinu sukkat shalom — May a shelter of peace be spread over you everywhere you find yourself.

Know that you are held—
fully loved, fully seen
for everything you are and everything you are becoming.

And when it’s time to return home,
may your tears fall not from sorrow, but from the joy of deep connection—
the kind that stays with you for a lifetime.

We’ve got spirit yes we do
We all live ten for two

I love camp where I can be truly me
