Oceans are deep and encompassing.
They do not conceal secrets
But contain all things.
Ahavat IsraelLit. ''the one who struggles with God.'' Israel means many things. It is first used with reference to Jacob, whose name is changed to Israel (Genesis 32:29), the one who struggles with God. Jacob's children, the Jewish people, become B'nai Israel, the children of Israel. The name also refers to the land of Israel and the State of Israel.
Love of the People Israel
Goes as deep as the oceans
Perhaps even deeper
Nudging us to reveal our truths
Be carried by the tides of our innermost selves
And still, to be part of a lasting whole.
Praise to G-d who fashions the People Israel with depth.
