A Surprising Favorite Name for God

 
When I first began my studies at the Reconstructionist Rabbinical College in 2003, I didn’t have a positive relationship to the word “God,” and also felt alienated by the language of “King” throughout our prayers. What shifted from 21 years ago such that “King” is now one of my favorite names for God!?
