May the Holy Blessed One
Source of Seas
Who touches down on earth
Periodically and Mysteriously
To lift and sift
With the poor, the bereft and the barren Softly remind you—

That your cup
However leaking
Empty
Or
Busted broken
Is
enough/Enough!

And that despite a world of
Masters and Mastery
Matter-of-fact Cruelty
Piecemeal crumbs
And monied task-mastering thieves…

God remembers you.
And so do we.

For Hallelujah is
Not merely praise of the most high
But reverence
Respect
And holy reclining with
and revealing of
the one/One
at their Most Low!

בָּרוּךְ אַתָּה יְהֹוָה, אֱלֹהֵינוּ מֶלֶךְ הָעוֹלָם, אֲשֶׁר קִדְּשָׁנוּ בְּמִצְוֹתָיו, וְצִוָּנוּ לִקְרֹא אֶת הַהַלֵּל
