Selah Bruriah

Selah’s life purpose is helping others recognize the beauty and wholeness she sees in them, and much of her poetry incorporates these themes. As a Spiritual Companion, she uses deep listening, meaningful reflection, tarot readings, lively conversation, and other tools to achieve similar goals. A complex, spiraling path through religion and spirituality led her to a Master of Divinity degree from Chicago Theological Seminary, where she first fell in love with Judaism. Selah lives in the near west suburbs of Chicago with her two partners, three teenagers(!) and two rowdy little dogs. She is currently pursuing a certificate in Biblical Hebrew from the Jewish Theological Seminary.
