Janice Steinberg is author of The Tin Horse (Random House), a novel set in the Boyle Heights neighborhood of Los Angeles in the 1930s and 40s, when it was the largest Jewish community on the West Coast. She has also published five mystery novels and extensive dance journalism. Her passions are dance and Judaism. After decades as a writer of prose, she recently dove into poetry, which she’s enjoyed exploring through Ritualwell’s ADVOT community. She lives in San Diego.
