Rabbi Ariel Tovlev

Rabbi Ariel Tovlev (he/they) is a poet, writer, theologian, and spiritual leader of Kehila Chadasha in the greater DC area. Rabbi Tovlev’s writings have been published in several CCAR Press titles, including Mishkan Ga’avah: Where Pride Dwells and The Sacred Struggle: Jewish Responses to Trauma. His poetry has been published in literary magazines such as ONE ART and Pensive.
