Aleksis Tristan Shaw is a poet and music composer living in Greenville, North Carolina, whose work dwells in the body’s fault lines — where myth bleeds into memory, and pain becomes a strange, luminous architecture. Her poems braid mysticism, trauma, and desire into meditations on what it means to survive in a form both sacred and fragile. Shaw is currently completing Blood of the Peacock, a full-length manuscript of embodied reckonings.
