Hod of Yesod – Humility of Commitment
The calls echo off the walls day in and day out
Pursue every opportunity
Make the most of every moment
Follow through on every commitment
For now, though, I am sick
I delete all emails with opportunities I wish could be mine
I spend hours watching silly TV
I can rarely honor the few commitments I still make
But in moments of deep listening I can hear
Surrender, your time for this will come
Be humble, there are bits of joy and beauty in what feels like wasted time
Hod of Yesod, not every commitment is meant to be honored
