Words of Intention for the Migrant Caravan

these illegals

these tattered
these swollen eyed
 
swept up
somber
and 
stinging 
 
are more lawful 
than you could possibly surmise
 
but when you read from broken tablets
i suppose everyone is a crack
 
in the depths of the crevice falls our whole humanity
 
while the stone that is a hidden heart
cries out from the ancient wall
 
pleading
for a new set
