Across cultures, spring is a season for cleaning–and in Jewish tradition, Passover, also known as Hag Ha-Aviv, the spring holiday, is a time for ritual cleaning of our homes.
On April 12th, we will commemorate our journey toward liberation with the first night of Passover. In traditional Jewish practice, this time signifies a thorough spring cleaning, eliminating hametz (the forbidden grains) from our homes and changing to a special set of Passover dishware.
Join McKenzie Wren of Ma’ayan Spiritual Arts to revitalize the ancient ritual of removing hametz from your home by discovering how to release what no longer benefits you in various aspects of your life. Through the perspective of the four Kabbalistic worlds—Assiyah / Earth, Yetzirah / Water, Briyah / Air, and Atzilut / Fire—we will reflect, explore, and clear our spiritual chametz in preparation for our journey to freedom this year. Traditional elements, including as a candle and a feather, will assist us as we “sweep” away anything that hinders our path to internal freedom and liberation.
All sessions will be recorded and sent to participants. We encourage live attendance for you to get the most out of the experience.
